In the late 90's I paid the bills working as a tennis instructor and a hitting partner for guys on the semi-pro tour while I lived in Los Angeles. I don't play at that level any longer due to some back problems, but I still love teaching tennis.


I work full-time as a professor at an online university and as a freelance animator, so for the most part I can make my own hours and give tennis lessons virtually any day or time.


I specialize in the latest stroke mechanics, point strategies and training methods. I’ve worked with high school and college players looking to take their games to the next level, and adult players looking to make the jump from hacker to competitive player or looking to learn more modern tennis strokes.

I try to keep my rates as low as possible, so $40/hour seems to be a fair price. I also offer hitting partner services for $30/hour as well. So please e-mail me at the address above if you're interested and I’ll get back to you within a day.
