Hello!
My name is Brit Lay. The outdoor season is over. I will be starting up again outdoors in April.
   I have been in the tennis industry for over 25 years, currently  as Tennis Director of the Paxton Sports Centre (Paxton, Ma.) and previously Tennis Director at the Westboro Tennis Club (Westboro,Ma.) for 14 years (voted USTA "New England Club of the Year in 2002" under my direction.)
    I have also taught in Palm Beach, Florida, Maryland, and was Head Pro at the Wailea Tennis Club in Maui, Hawaii. I taught and coached for many years on Cape Cod and for the last three Springs, I have helped coach the Varsity Boys and Girls Tennis Teams at Whitinsville Christian School..
   I specialize in stroke mechanics and how to apply improved strokes to actual play. I also focus on basic to advanced singles and doubles strategy. In teaching children, I combine appropriate level instruction with fun and games designed to cultivate self confidence, age appropriate skills and a love for the game. 
  Personally, I have played tennis since I was 5 years old. I played competitive tennis inter-scholastically and in regional tournaments. I was Captain of the Brown University Men's Varsity Tennis Team in 1973.
