About Me
My name is James B. I began playing tennis at the age of 12 and continued to play, first on my High School team and then at the Divsion 1A level at Mercer. I went on to receive my Bachelors of Business Management degree at UNF in Jacksonville, FL. At the age of 14 I taught my first tennis lesson and have been teaching tennis ever since. My passion for tennis instruction also inspired me to get my USPTR Certification.
Lesson Details
Today I enjoy teaching people of all ages. I excel in not only assessing talent, but then providing them with the techniques and tactics to develop that talent. I am confident teaching many facets of the game including the use of different grips and their effects, basic fundamentals, and advanced court strategy. I believe in fine tuning every aspect of a students tennis game but specialize in error detection and then applying corrective techniques. The most important thing is that you never leave the court on a bad note. I aim to ensure that each student walks away from their lesson with a sense of accomplishment!

Outside of tennis I enjoy swimming, listening to music, and traveling. I am also an avid sports writer. I am a very social person which I believe is a key to teaching, and in turn enjoying, a tennis lesson.
