I grew up in Hong Kong and played junior tennis, at age 14 I attended the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida full time I finished off my high school and tennis training there, after I graduated from there I then played Div.1 tennis at Michigan. During my second year my family moved to Australia so I finished off my college degree (Economics and Marketing). In Australia I played club tennis at the State Grade level.
I then moved to Ohio where I worked for a medical company and taught tennis on the weekend at the club I belonged to. After 1 year they offered me a full time position and I worked there for 7 years until I moved to Atlanta in 2007 where I got an offer to be a head pro at Glenn Abbey in Alpharetta.
